Tesa - More than 80 years of history
TESA ASSA ABLOY has a long and proven track record. We began our activity in 1941 in Eskoriatza as manufacturers of suitcase hardware and from there our activity evolved to become what we are today: the leading Spanish manufacturer of locking and access control solutions.
In 1980 we launched the first electronic lock for hotel installations and in 1995 we became the world leaders in the electronic hotel lock market.
In the field of the mechanical security, some of our highlights are that in 1982 we registered our first patented cylinder, the T12, and in 2011 the first high-security TESA cylinder with "Drop Orbital" technology, our renowned TK100.
Thanks to our long and successful experience, in 2001 we became part of the multinational ASSA ABLOY group.
